PROYECTOS
Connecting Rural Youth with Europe
The project “Connecting Rural Youth with Europe” (editions I and II), funded by the Erasmus+ program, seeks to provide 20 rural young people with access to DiscoverEU travel (using the Interrail pass) on an equal opportunity basis.
This action provides additional support to overcome obstacles related to the application and the trip, with the support of 5 companions or facilitators, to publicize the opportunities offered by different public initiatives such as the Erasmus+ Programme to improve the living conditions of the rural population and promote sustainable rural development.
Specific objectives
- Promote the development of sustainability and digitalization skills and intercultural dialogue for 20 disadvantaged 18-year-olds in 4 short-term mobility flows (7-10 days) in different EU Member States through discovery learning.
- Promote awareness campaigns in rural communities, driven by young people themselves, using digital tools to publicize the opportunities offered by the EU in the fields of education, youth and volunteering.
